Morris Mosquito Control Invites Organizations and Towns to Schedule Tick and Mosquito Displays

Morris County Mosquito Control Delivers the Display
Spring is here and the Morris County Division of Mosquito Control would like to partner with your town, organization or neighborhood this season to help spread the word about mosquito prevention and control and tick safety.
Asian Tiger Mosquito
In 2018, the Division took displays to 24 locations around Morris County and would like to expand that outreach in 2019.
- Asian Tiger Mosquito Display features information about the day biting, container breeder Asian Tiger Mosquito. It includes information on source reduction, mosquito borne disease, repellents and a new section about our services.
- Tick Safety Display highlights ways to prevent ticks bites on yourself and family. Both come with relevant literature and new additions are made during the season if there are any emerging diseases, new species or anything else that may be newsworthy!
The Division makes it simple for towns, organizations or neighborhood groups:
They deliver the tri-fold display, table, table covering, and related literature. At the end of the week, they pick up the materials.
You just have to pick the date and location and help by promoting the display on your social media or other news outlets.
Displays are left on site for one week, Monday through Friday.
Please indicate if you have a preferred date and if you want both displays or just one. You can have them both at the same time or each one on different weeks. The displays are available from April through October. But act fast because the dates fill up fast.
