Thomas J. “Tom” Mastrangelo in 2020 in starting his fourth three-year term as a Morris County Freeholder, making him the second longest-serving member of the current board.
Tom is a lifelong New Jersey resident who was first elected to the Board of Chosen Freeholders in November 2010. He was selected by his colleagues as freeholder director in 2013 and again in 2014.
He is a member of the county’s Capital Budget and Facilities Review Committee and Courthouse Construction Committee, and is liaison to Economic Development and Tourism, and the Morris County Improvement Authority. He also is co-liaison to Law and Public Safety, Public Works/Engineering, and the County Insurance Fund Committee.
Professionally, Mastrangelo has 25-plus years of management and business consulting experience in the information technology industry, especially in the areas of design and delivery of technology solutions involving storage systems, networks, server platforms and support services.
A Montville resident, Freeholder Director Mastrangelo holds a bachelor’s degree from Seton Hall University and an M.B.A from Fairleigh Dickinson University, performing his international business study in England. He also has a Juris Doctor of Law from Seton Hall University School of Law.
Mastrangelo and his wife, Debbie, have three children, Christopher, Michael and Brittney; a daughter-in-law Allyson, and one grandchild, Audriana.
