Milling and Resurfacing of Green Pond Road Set to Begin Sept. 23

The milling and resurfacing of Green Pond Road in the Townships of Rockaway and Jefferson is scheduled to begin on Monday, Sept. 23, 2024.

Portion of Washington St. in Boonton Closed Next Week for Sewer Work

Washington Street (C.R. 511) will be closed between the intersections of Lathrop Avenue and Monroe Street starting on Monday, June 17 through Tuesday, June 18 for the installation of a bypass sewer system. Working hours are from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. for the duration of the project and detour signs will be in place for motorists to follow.

Portion of Route 15 Closed Due to Structural Concerns

The unplanned closing of Route 15 South by the New Jersey Department of Transportation, between Taylor Road and Cedar Terrace, has prompted the Township of Jefferson to declare a state of emergency. The road closing is due to structural concerns with a bridge carrying Route 15 over the Rockaway River.

Intersection Safety Improvements Starting May 28 in Randolph

Starting Tuesday, May 28, safety improvements will be made to the intersection of Center Grove Road (County Route 670) and Quaker Church Road in Randolph Township. Construction is expected to last six months, with lane closures from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily. Motorists should expect delays and are advised to plan alternate routes during these hours.
