Happy Saturday
Snow from our most recent storm has exited the area. Our attention now turns to our Sunday and Monday storm system. We anticipate that snowfall will start Sunday afternoon.(JPG, 17KB)
The current forecast models suggest an accumulation range of 4-to 10 inches depending on your location, elevation, etc...
The heaviest snow is expected to fall between 6 p.m. on Sunday to 2 a.m. on Monday, with possible rates of one-inch per hour. Snow is expected to wrap up during the pre-dawn hours on Monday and conclude before daybreak.
We will review the forecast models tomorrow morning and put out a final update at that time.
(JPG, 86KB)Also, remember to clear snow from areas around fire hydrants. When shoveling, please shovel a 3-foot diameter around all fire hydrants so our fire personnel can to quickly connect their hoses to the hydrants in the event of a fire.
Please help out our great firemen and firewomen who work diligently to protect all of us in our communities. Thank you.
Have a great day!
