CCM to Host Music and Storytelling Event for "Knock Out Opioid Abuse Day" Oct. 4

A live music production called, A Journey of Recovery, Things I Must Express, will be performed on Friday, Oct. 4, 6-9:30 p.m., on the campus of County College of Morris at the Dragonetti Auditorium, adjacent to the student center.

Created to raise awareness of opioid addiction and recovery, the performance depicts how the opioid epidemic affects all people through stories, song, visual arts, and choreographed dance, bringing together the community and the collective stories of those affected by the crisis.

During the event, performers and audience members will honor the memory of loved ones and celebrate those in recovery, showing that together, we are stronger than this epidemic.

This event was created by LIFE Center Stage in Partnership with Community Coalition for a Safe & Healthy Morris. It is sponsored by County College of Morris, Pequannock Township Coalition, Morris County and Partnership for a Drug-Free New Jersey.
