Opioids and addiction will be the topic of a special forum in Stigma-Free Morris County to be held on Tuesday, April 24, in Washington Township, and which will feature leaders from law enforcement and treatment and recovery programs in our region.(JPG, 9KB)The free program, sponsored by Washington Township, is scheduled from 7-10 p.m. at the Valley View Chapel, located at 115 East Mill Road, Long Valley, NJ 07853. Message from organizers: We've all heard about opioids and addiction, it is in the news frequently. Some may think it is a problem that happens somewhere else. This program is intended to share the FACTS and explain that this issue is far reaching - across socioeconomic lines and across all ages.

Opioids and addiction are here, in our backyard, and as an educated community we can help our kids, our friends, and our neighbors deal with this rising problem.

You will learn something that will help, you, your family, your neighbors, and your community. When we are all informed, we can begin to make changes that will help our whole community.
