The Morris County Tourism Bureau has announced the sale of their history-related ornament for the 2018 holiday season, The Ford Mansion."

This exquisite glass ornament features an illustration of The Ford Mansion where General George and Martha Washington spent the Christmas of 1779, when Morristown served as the army's winter headquarters. It was there that Washington hired one of the military bands of to play music at Headquarters at a cost of 15 pounds. The obverse reads "The Ford Mansion, Morristown, NJ. It was here that Gen. George Washington Spent the Christmas of 1779, when Morristown served s the army's winter headquarters."

The ornament is on sale now at Morris County Tourism Bureau at 6 Court Street, Morristown. A donation of $10 per ornament is required.
