Morris Tourism: Backstage Tour at the Shakespeare Theatre of NJ

The Morris County Tourism Bureau, in concert with the NJ Shakespeare Theatre, will offer a unique tour of the Theatre Company's backstage operation in Florham Park on Saturday morning, April 21.

Tour participants will visit a renovated old valve factory in Florham Park that is now home to the backstage operations of the NJ Shakespeare Theatre Company. At the facility are the costume, scenery and prop shops, a number of art installations utilizing relics from the more than 50-year history of the company.
You will see the company library and furniture, props and scenery archives. Also, rehearsals for Tartuffe, the season opener, will be going on in the rehearsal spaces.

This special weekend tour will be held from 11 a.m. to 12 noon at the NJ Shakespeare Theatre support facility, located at 3 Vreeland Road, Florham Park, N.J. 07932. It will be limited to just to 25 people, so act quickly if you are interested.
