Morris Sophomores: Check Out Share Time Programs on Thursday at MCSV

Info Session on Trades, Retail, Food Service, Cosmetology at Denville Campus

The Morris County Vocational School District continues to hold information sessions, each in a different location, for specific Share Time Programs.

Interested sophomores and their families are invited to learn about two-year, half-day programs that prepare high school students for careers using the latest technology and focusing on workplace skills and real-world experiences as part of their junior- and senior-year high school program. During the information sessions, students and parents will have the opportunity to tour the facilities and meet with teachers and current students.

Thursday, Jan 31: The Morris County School of Technology in Denville will hold an Information Session at 6 p.m. The Share Time Programs at MCST include Auto Body Collision Repair, Auto Service Technology, Carpentry, Cosmetology, Food Services, Building & Grounds Maintenance, Retail & Supermarket Careers, Electrical Trades, Plumbing and Pipefitting, and Welding.

Students and parents will have the opportunity to tour the facilities and meet with teachers and current students. A computer lab will also be available for students to complete the online application.

Wednesday, Feb. 13: The Information Session for Share Time Allied Health Program in partnership with Pequannock High School and Chilton Hospital will be at 6 p.m at Pequannock High School.

Share Time Programs prepares students for careers utilizing the latest technology and focusing on workplace skills and real-world experiences. Students in 10th grade may apply via online application through March 29, 2019 at www.mcvts.org/apply, click on Share Time Programs.
