Beginning at 7 a.m., Monday, June 15, and until 3 p.m., Monday, June 22, NJDOT's contractor Crisdel Group, will close the Route 46 eastbound ramp to Route 46 westbound for concrete pavement repair. The following signed detour will be in place.

The $8 million dollar state-funded project will extend the pavement life, improve safety and enhance ride quality for motorists. In addition to milling and paving, the project will make drainage improvements and ADA-upgrades to sidewalks and intersections. The project is expected to be complete by fall 2020.
Variable messaging signs are being utilized to provide advance notification to the motoring public of all traffic pattern changes associated with the work. NJDOT will provide more information before any lane closures are scheduled.
The precise timing of the work is subject to change due to weather or other factors. Motorists are encouraged to check NJDOT's traffic information website www.511nj.org for construction updates.
