Morris Prosecutor: Rockaway Twp. Police Officer Charged with Sexual Assaults

Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp and Chief Martin McParland, Jr. of the Rockaway Township Police have announced that Rockaway Township Police Officer Wilfredo Guzman, 40, of Rockaway Township, has been charged with two counts of Sexual Assault and four counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
These charges relate to actions that Officer Guzman is alleged to have engaged in with two minor females, one of whom was between the ages of 16-17 years-old, and another who was 15-years-old during the time in question.
It is alleged that Mr. Guzman engaged in sexual acts with the two females on various dates in 2014 and 2015. It is further alleged that Mr. Guzman provided both females alcohol and prescription medication.
Mr. Guzman has been remanded to the Morris County Correctional Facility.
