Authorities Announce 15-Year-Old Male is Safe

Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp, Morris County Prosecutor's Office Chief of Investigations Stephen F. Wilson Jr., and Mountain Lakes Police Chief Shawn Bennett announce that Thomas Kolding, 15, of Mountain Lakes, who has been missing since Oct. 30, has been located and is now safe. (PNG, 840KB)

He was located following a two-week investigation that included law enforcement and transportation agencies from New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Ohio.

Prosecutor Knapp extended appreciation to New Jersey Transit Police, Amtrak Police, New Jersey State Police, Camden Police, Philadelphia Police, Delaware Port Authority Police, plus the Miami Township, Ohio Police Department, as well as transportation agencies that assisted in the coordination of a multi-state search for Thomas Kolding.

The Prosecutor said no further information would be made available at this time.
