Morris Prosecutor Joins Diversity Day Roster for July 8 Event in Morristown

This Sunday, July 8, the Morris County Prosecutor's Office will join a host of community groups throughout Morris County to celebrate Diversity Day on the Morristown Green.

The event starts at 11:00 a.m. with an Interfaith Service on the Green. Following the service, there will be a festival on the Green from 12 noon through 4 p.m., including music, performances, international foods, games, and prizes.

Diversity Day was created by the Presbyterian Church in Morristown this year as a way to celebrate the different cultures and religious groups throughout Morris County. The event is free and open to all members of the public.

The event is being held in collaboration with the following community partners: Atlantic Health, the Albanian Church, Black Lives Matter, Boy Scouts of America, Calvary Baptist Church, Centrobiblico of NJ, Church of the Redeemer, Cornerstone/Neighborhood House, and the Islamic Society of Basking Ridge.

Other partners are the Morristown Jewish Center Beit Yisrael, Morris School District, Presbyterian Church in Morristown, United Methodist Church of Morristown, RAMP (Refugee Assistance Morris Partners), South Street Creamery, and Wind of the Spirit.
