Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp, Morris County Prosecutor's Office Acting Chief of Investigations Chris Kimker, and Morris Township Police Chief Mark DiCarlo announce they are investigating the discovery of a body in the woods in Morris Township.
On Tuesday (Nov. 26), law enforcement received information regarding a deceased male found in a wooded area near 25 Lindsley Drive, Morris Township. Investigation confirmed that a deceased male's body was, in fact, in those woods.
The cause and manner of death are pending and the investigation remains ongoing. The identity of the individual will not be released at this time.

It does not appear at this time that there is any risk to the general public.
