Morris Prosecutor: Bergen County Man Charged with Sex Assault in Kinnelon

Oakland Resident Charged by Authorities

Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp and Kinnelon Borough Police Chief John Schwartz announce that Thomas Thomasevich, 70, of Oakland, has been charged with sexual assault of underage girls in Kinnelon.

Thomasevich was charged with two counts of Sexual Assault, two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and six counts of Cruelty & Neglect of Children.

The defendant is alleged to have committed acts of sexual contact on two minor female students known to him while he was working as a driver for the First Student Bus Company, located in Butler. Such acts were alleged to have been committed in the presence of several other minor students.

Thomasevich is currently lodged at the Morris County Correctional Facility pending a court appearance.
