Morris Prosecutor: Authorities Seeking Public's Help to Locate Missing Boy

15-Year-Old Mountain Lakes Youth Missing Since Oct. 30

Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp and Mountain Lakes Police Chief Shawn Bennett are seeking the public's assistance in locating a 15-year-old boy from Mountain Lakes, who has been missing since Oct. 30.

Thomas Kolding, who lives in Mountain Lakes with his parents, was last known to be at his family home last Tuesday, Oct.30.

It is believed Kolding may have traveled by train from Denville to Newark €“ Broad Street Station. From there, he is believed to have traveled by train from Broad Street Station to New York Penn Station. His location is unknown from that point. However, the investigation revealed that Kolding had a strong interest in travelling to California.

Kolding is a white male. He has brown hair and brown eyes. He weighs approximately 120 pounds and is five-foot, three-inches tall. He was last seen wearing a camouflage jacket, gray winter skullcap and carrying a large black backpack.
