Both In-Person and Virtual Programs

The Morris County Park System offers an array of events for the virtual crowd as well as those inclined to get out into the winter weather.Here are a FEW highlights of special events. Many more are listed on the Parks calendar.

Virtual: Floral Arranging with Supermarket Flowers for Valentine's Day

Ann Fahey, Superintendent of Horticulture Education will demonstrate how to make a simple supermarket bouquet into a gift-worthy Valentine's arrangement.

Virtual Lunch and Learn: Beauty in the Books

(JPG, 233KB)Join Curator Melanie Bump as we take an artistic look at the books. Books, in their own right, can be considered works of art, and using an aesthetic eye we will explore the artistic nature of the Elizabeth B. Kay Rare Book Collection. Contained within the rare books are tiny exhibitions of gorgeous drawings, illustrations, prints, and works of art. Through this special look, we will see the stunning, beautiful, and artsy side of the rare book collection.

In Person: Winter Trees of the Forest

Masks are required for this in-person walking tour.

Virtual Lunch and Learn: Top Ten Gardening Questions

These and other common garden questions will be answered by Ann Fahey, Superintendent of Horticulture Education.
