Virtual Lunch and Learn: Artifacts of the Lenape
New Jersey's native people relied on handmade tools constructed of natural materials for survival. Take a virtual tour of the decorated wigwam model and see authentic artifacts, including arrowheads, fishing net weights, drills and more used by Native Americans in the past.

In Person Maple Sugaring Demos
Learn how to identify and tap maple trees, collect sap and make syrup over a wood-fired evaporator. This year theprogram will be held entirely outdoors.
Saturdays through March 13. Two sessions are held each Saturday from 1 p.m. "“ 2 p.m. and2:30 p.m. "“ 3:30 p.m.All Ages. Great Swamp Outdoor Education Center, 247 Southern Boulevard, Chatham Twp. An additional session for in-person home school day demo is planned for Feb. 28.

Virtual Home School Days: The New Jersey Biome
New Jersey has more than one type of biome. Learn what they are, where they are, and then dig into the temperate forest that is Morris County. Pick up supplies at the Frelinghuysen Arboretum.

Have you ever wondered how to capture family members' memories for posterity but were unsure where to start? Join museum staff as they discuss the basics of taking oral histories and share some examples from the Historic Collections of the Morris County Park Commission.

Feeders and Feathered Friends
Winter is the best time to put up some bird feeders and see who arrives to feed. In this LIVE, virtual program find out the best kinds of feeders to use, how to discourage squirrels and fun facts about the year-round resident birds you are likely to see.

In Person Sunrise Photography
Photograph Fosterfields like never before. The beauty of a chilly January morning is brought to life by the rays of the sun, glistening frosted trees, buildings and fences. We might even see some snow blanketing the farm. Amateur and professional photographers are invited to this unique morning experience to photograph the beauty of the farm.
