"Christine is a talented leader with a compassionate spirit, ''said Morris County Department of Human Services Director Jennifer Carpinteri.
Her extensive experience with Medicaid and the close partnerships she will establish with the community providers will allow the Division on Aging, Disabilities, and Community Programming to seamlessly achieve a one-door approach to accessing services in Morris County," Carpinteri said.
While leading Hunterdon County's welfare office, Hellyer managed day-to-day operations and redesigned the agency's internal system to better track and complete casework. She worked diligently with the state and federal governments on better ways to offer services and provide benefits.
She brings extensive experience to Morris County regarding Managed Long Term Care Support Services from the Medicaid eligibility perspective, which will guide her in examining current services in Morris County and maximize opportunities to expand services and increase revenues.
Hellyer previously was employed in Morris County as an Administrative Assistant of Income Maintenance/Medicaid and in the Office of Temporary Assistance. Welcome Christine!
