Morris County Parks: Sunrise Lake Beach Club at Lewis Morris County Park Set to Open for Summer Season

ENJOY FUN-FILLED BEACH DAYS CONVENIENTLY CLOSE TO HOME

On Saturday, May 26, the Morris County Park Commission's Sunrise Lake Beach Club at Lewis Morris County Park will open for the summer season, through Labor Day.

Spend the day at the beach, and enjoy fun activities such as swimming, boating, fishing, and more.

Kids over age seven can run, jump, climb, and splash across the Wibit, an inflatable obstacle course that offers fun. Kids: Don't miss an opportunity to slide down the Zoom Floom, play volleyball on the beach, or build castles in the sand.

Conveniently located in Lewis Morris County Park in Morris Township, Sunrise Lake Beach Club is open Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day, May 26 to September 3. Weekend hours are 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and weekdays 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

(JPG, 16KB)Sunrise Lake Beach Club offers fun, summertime events including Campout On the Beach, an overnight camping extravaganza, complete with tents, a campfire, stories, and delicious s'mores. Now with two dates to choose from, Friday, June 22, and August 3, attend one or both.

€˜Tiny Tot Tuesday,' is back every Tuesday in July. This special program is designed for children age 4 and under. Together, you and your toddlers can explore the sandy beach and beautiful water of Sunrise Lake before the lake opens to the public.

There is daily admission to Sunrise Lake. Weekend rates are $7 per adult (16-64), $6 per child (5-15) & $6 per senior (65+). Children 4 and under are FREE. Weekday rates are $1 off. Wibit use is $4. Season memberships are available.
