Morris County Park Alliance Recognizes Community Parks and Recreation Efforts

The Morris Park Alliance has established the Community Recognition Award program to recognize outstanding efforts in parks, recreation, and conservation by Morris County communities and non-profit organizations.

Categories include program, facility, elected official, and support organization. The awards were presented on Thursday, Oct. 12, at the Haggerty Education Center at the Frelinghuysen Arboretum in Morris Township.
Nominees were judged on significant support, ability to be an example to others, uniqueness, challenges overcome, community appeal, and/or exceptional efforts.
Congratulations to the winners of the first annual Community Recognition Awards:

The Morris Park Alliance supports the Morris County Park Commission in its efforts to provide open space, recreation, education, and conservation to Morris County residents and visitors.
