Morris County Offers Historic Preservation Program Workshop on Nov. 5

To help non-profit applicants and municipalities better meet the needs of their historic preservation projects, the county has scheduled a Historic Preservation Program Workshop on the evening of Nov. 5.

Topics will include: working with architect/consultant, cost estimation, bidding, contingencies for construction work, insurance, public access, long-term commitment beyond completion of a preservation project, and more.
The session will include presentations from the historic site managers on a selection of preservation projects.
Date: Monday, Nov. 5, 7- 8:30 p.m.
Location: County Cultural Center, 300 Mendham Road (County Rte 510), Morris Township.
Speaker: Dominique Hawkins, AIA, LEED® AP, Preservation Design Partnership, LLC (Preservation Consultant to Morris County)
Light refreshments served.
Please note that this event does not take the place of the 2019 Application Workshop which is still scheduled to occur in late January 2019.
