Morris County Library Kicks off Summer Reading Program with Author David Lubar

(JPG, 19KB)The Morris County Library is will start its Summer Reading Program for children and teens on Saturday, June 10, when the library welcomes author David Lubar for a special program that is open to residents from throughout the county.

Born and raised in Morristown, where his mother was a school librarian, David Lubar has written more than 30 books for children and teens. The county library is pleased to welcome him for an author talk to kick off its Summer Reading Program.(JPG, 43KB)

Lubar has written the Weenies Collection -- "warped and creepy tales'' for kids that include vampires, werewolves, killer snowmen and many other strange, scary, or hilarious creatures in this eight collection of short stories. He also is the author of the "Nathan Abercrombie, Accidental Zombie'' series and "Monsteriffic Tales,'' among others.

Mr. Lubar will sign books following his talk. Please bring your own copies if you would like them signed.
