Morris County Library: Free Family Films on Mondays in July

"Coco,'' "Moana,'' and "Ferdinand'' are Featured

Morris County families are invited to the Morris County library's free screenings of recent family films on Mondays at 2 p.m. in July and August.

Films are free and on a first-come, first-served basis. All showings are in the public meeting room. So check the schedule and come on in:

  • (PNG, 305KB)July 9: Coco, Aspiring musician Miguel, confronted with his family's ancestral ban on music, enters the Land of the Dead to find his great-great-grandfather, a legendary singer. (PG-13, 1 hr & 45 mins)
  • July 23: Moana, In Ancient Polynesia, when a terrible curse incurred by the Demigod Maui reaches Moana's island, she answers the Ocean's call to seek out the Demigod to set things right. (PG, 1 hr & 47 mins)
  • July 30: Ferdinand, After Ferdinand, a bull with a big heart, is mistaken for a dangerous beast, he is captured and torn from his home. Determined to return to his family, he rallies a misfit team on the ultimate adventure. (PG, 1 hr & 48 mins)
  • August 6: Mary and the Witch's Flower, Based on "The Little Broomstick" by Mary Stewart, a strange flower grants a girl magic powers.
The County Library also features films, on Friday afternoons, just for adults. The July schedule of library-logoMovies for grown-ups, includes Black Panther, Murder on the Orient Express, Hostiles and Star Wars VIII: The Last Jedi. Films are shown at 2 p.m.
Important Reminder: Seating is limited and there are no reservations, so come early.
