Morris County EDC: Brownfield Redevelopment -- The Mt. Arlington Model

(BMP, 4MB)The Morris County Economic Development Corporation will tackle brownfields redevelopment, with a specific look at Mt. Arlington's approach, is a seminar to be held on Tuesday, April 10, as part of the EDC's 2018 Municipal Council Speaker Series.

The speakers will address how municipalities can leverage available resources to meet brownfields revitalization challenges. The redevelopment of Mt. Arlington's former landfill will be scrutinized as an example of how all communities might pursue the reuse of once off-limits sites for useful development.

Guest speakers will be Mt. Arlington Borough Administrator Carolyn Rinbaldi, redevelopment attorney Matt Jessup, redevelopment attorney Seas Monaghan, and former N.J. DEP brownfields remediation supervisor Steve Keyhayes.

The seminar will be held at the Morris County EDC at 325 Columbia Turnpike in Florham Park from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. You can register by email to rwanthouse@morriscountyedc.org
