Rutgers' newest: €˜Scarlet Sunrise€˜
Educational webinars include a Q&A with Rutgers experts, including Morris County's Agricultural Agent Peter Nitzsche, who is also Director of Rutgers Snyder Research and Extension Farm where the event is held. Nitzsche and Tom Orton, an extension specialist in vegetables, developed the €˜Scarlet Sunrise,' a uniquely flavorful bicolor grape tomato that was released in 2020, after eight years of research.
