Classes Accommodate Youngsters Age 3 Through Adult
Register now to learn to skate at Mennen Sports Arena in Morristown. New classes begin Jan. 4.
Mennen Sports Arena's Learn-To-Skate group classes accommodate skaters age 3 through adult. These classes are designed to teach the basic skating skills needed to confidently glide on the ice, whether on your own along with the skills necessary to progress into the sports of figure skating and hockey.
No prior ice skating experience is necessary to join the Learn-To-Skate program. Lessons also accommodate more advanced skaters with the Bridge Program. Visit the website here.

Participants receive 30 minutes of group instruction per class along with a designated practice session. Skate rentals are available for $3 per day for lesson participants. Sizes start at a child size 6 up to an adult size 14. Figure and hockey skates are available.
Mennen has the three best ice surfaces in the area, making it the ultimate destination for daily public skating sessions including the popular Friday Night Skates with DJ Earl, plus lessons, clubs and clinics.
Grab your own skates, or rent them at the rink ($4) for these open skating sessions:
- Mornings - Monday through Friday; Saturday & Sunday: 10 a.m. - noon.
- Afternoons - Monday through Friday: 3:30 - 5:30 p.m.; Saturday & Sunday: 2 - 4 p.m.
- Evenings - Friday: 8 - 10 p.m.

- Wednesday and Friday evenings: $9

Garden State Speedskating Club and a number of skating camps also meet at the rinks. Mennen Arena is home ice for a number of area high school teams.
You can host a birthday party for up to 22 children at the arena, featuring two newly renovated party rooms.
In addition to 3 indoor rinks, amenities include a snack bar, pro shop, skate rental plus video games.
