EVENT ON TUESDAY MORNING IN NEW VERNON
(JPG, 47KB)Got salt? There's more than one way to break the ice!
Before you head out to purchase your home snow clearing supplies, learn about the impacts of traditional rock salt to the environment and its organisms, and some environmentally safe alternatives, thanks to the Great Swamp Watershed Association.
Steven Vernik, Vice President of Gaia Enterprises, will provide relevant information for homeowners, businesses, and municipal leaders alike at a special breakfast session to be held tomorrow, Dec. 12, from 8:30-10 a.m. in Harding Township.
All persons who attend will leave with some product samples, and a grab-bag of winter necessities generously provided by Long Hill Township. Registration is required.
The event, which is free to GSWA and with a suggested $10 donation for non-members, will be held at the Great Swamp Watershed Association headquarters at 568 Tempe Wick Road in New Vernon.
