Final Public Information Center: Dec. 12 for Columbia Turnpike Bridge Project in Florham Park

Morris County will host its third and final Public Information Center about planned improvements to the 90-year-old Columbia Turnpike bridge in Florham Park, adjacent to Morristown Airport, on Wednesday, Dec. 12.
The county and its partners, the North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority and the New Jersey Department of Transportation, have been conducting a study to determine appropriate improvements to the Columbia Turnpike bridge.
It is a low-lying span that runs over the Black Brook in Florham Park.
The purpose of this final Information Session is to inform the public about the conceptual plan for a Preliminary Preferred Alternative.
The goal of the project is to address structural deficiencies of the 90-year-old bridges and increase safety for motorists.
Study team members will present information and answer questions at the Dec. 12 session. The public is encouraged to attend.
