Two of the railroad cars that were vandalized are used for the NJ Toys for Tots Train, a charity train which annually collects more than 20,000 donated items for the Marine Toys for Toys Foundation. The two cars, a 1926 Pennsylvania Railroad baggage car and a camouflage-decorated box car, were restored by the URHS and Military Transport Association with preservation grants and donations.

All 10 pieces of damaged equipment will have to be repaired and repainted by volunteer labor.
