Restrooms to Re-Open
The Morris County Park Commission is announcing some changes to its COVID-19 operating practices, as the state's restrictions are starting to be relaxed in phase two of Gov. Murphy's "safe restart'' program.(PNG, 70KB)
The following are updates offered by the Park Commission:
Public Restrooms: Fifteen (15) of the Park Commission's standalone public restrooms will be open on Wednesdays thru Sundays, with the two restrooms at Central Park of Morris County open 7 days per week.
Update on all county parks:
Many of the 38 distinct parks, facilities and trails for which the Morris County Park Commission has stewardship responsibility have reopened, with reduced parking and strict social distancing requirements remaining in place.
Sunrise Lake Beach at Lewis Morris County Park will remain closed for the season and all camps at various park facilities have been cancelled for the summer.
All county park system programs, activities, events and permits have been cancelled at this time.
