Recognizing the economic impact of many business closures due to the COVID-19 pandemic, New Jersey has launched a website for persons looking for work from businesses that are currently hiring.(PNG, 30KB)
Governor Phil Murphy announced that many businesses across the state are looking to hire thousands of workers, including those who lost their jobs or have had hours reduced as a result of the COVID-19 emergency.
Shop-Rite, UPS, Blue Apron, Inspira Health, Fed-Ex, Spring Hill Senior Communities, and Wawa are just some of the companies seeking workers to handle the extra workload caused by this crisis.
Unemployed workers should visit a new resource page, www.jobs.covid19.nj.gov to learn about those employers that are hiring within their community. This website will continue to be updated as more jobs become known and available.
Your business also can connect with these workers seeking New Jersey job opportunities by visiting https://jobs.covid19.nj.gov/intake and submitting information on the positions you need filled.
