CCM Professor Todd L. W. Doney Receives Highland Juried Art Exhibit Award

Todd L. W. Doney, professor of fine arts at County College of Morris, recently received second prize for one of his watercolor paintings in the 5th Annual New Jersey Highlands Coalition Juried Art Exhibit at the Morris Museum in Morristown.
The painting, Swamp_April_15_716PM, that won CCM Professor Todd L. W. Doney a second prize award in the Highlands Coalition Juried Art Exhibit at the Morris Museum.
Doney received the second prize for a watercolor painting of the Great Swamp titled Swamp, April 15, 7:16 p.m. The exhibit is designed to highlight the natural and cultural resources of the New Jersey Highlands and runs until February 18. Doney lives near the Great Swamp and much of his work focuses on the beauty of that environment.
Doney's work also is being featured in another local exhibit. Twenty of his paintings are now on display at Broadfoot & Broadfoot, 819 Maine Street, Boonton. That exhibit will run through mid-February.
A community college graduate, Doney is widely known for his vivid Neo-Impressionistic paintings.
His work has been displayed in numerous exhibitions, including solo exhibits at the Morris Museum, Broadfoot & Broadfoot in New York and Boonton, the Gallery MacEgan in Morristown, the College of Saint Elizabeth, and New Jersey City University.
Doney also exhibits his work at Paderewski Fine Art, Beaver Creek, CO; The Sportsman's Gallery, Ltd., Charleston, SC.; and Gallery Piquel, New Hope, PA.

In 2014, his work was displayed at Drumthwacket, the governor's mansion, and at the Mansion in May at Blairsden estate in Peapack-Gladstone. His works are included in public and private collections worldwide.
Doney earned his Associate in Arts from the American Academy of Art, his Bachelor of Arts from Thomas Edison State College and his Master of Fine Arts from New Jersey City University. For more information on his work, visit www.todddoney.com.
