The Hour of Code is an introduction to computer science, designed to demystify coding and to show that anybody can learn the basics. Three sessions will be offered: Android App Development, Block Coding and Cyber Coding.

All ages are welcome and no experience is necessary.

The event is free and open to the public; however, reservations are required. Reserve a spot at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/hour-of-code-2017-tickets-39822515215.

Computer science experience is in high demand, with the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics projecting that there will be one million more computing jobs than students in 2020. It is a top paying field and computer programming jobs are growing at twice the rate of the national average.
