The New Jersey Art Association (originally called the Millburn-Short Hills Art Center) is one of the oldest art associations in the state. It was formed in 1940 as a not-for-profit organization to encourage art education and appreciation.
In addition to mounting its own exhibitions and demonstrations, association members join together several times a year to show their work in such venues as the Paper Mill Playhouse in Millburn and the Mayo Center for the Performing Arts in Morristown as well as libraries, hospitals, community centers and corporate offices.
