CCM: Data Privacy Session on Jan. 25 -- Safeguard Your Personal Data

What Is Your Data Safety I.Q? Offered by CCM Information Technologies

The Department of Information Technologies at County College of Morris has scheduled a drop-in session What Is Your Data Safety I.Q., covering issues on how to safeguard your personal data, on Thursday, Jan. 25.

Data Privacy Day logo(JPG, 11KB)The session, which is free and open to the public, takes place at 12:30 p.m. in the CCM Center for Cyber Security, Emeriti Hall, Room 217, on the college's Randolph campus, 214 Center Grove Road. The session is being held in celebration of Data Privacy Day.

Attendees will learn through a series of interactive stations, where they will find tips, tools, and techniques to respect privacy, safeguard data and enable trust. You do not have to register for this session.

This session is part of the Stop. Think. Connect. StaySafeOnline.org campaign, a national public awareness effort to convey that cyber security is a shared responsibility and each person has a part in keeping the Internet safe. As part of that effort, the Center for Cyber Security in the Department of Information Technologies at CCM is hosting this event to help educate students, faculty, staff and the public on data privacy issues.CCM logo(JPG, 707KB)
