Primary Election

June 10, 2025

April 16:Party Affiliation Deadline
April 19: Commencement of mailing of Mail-in ballots for the Primary Election.
May 20: Last day to register to vote for the Primary Election.
May 27: On or before this date, applications for appointment of Challengers for Primary Election shall be filed with the County Board of Elections.
June 3: Last day to apply for a Mail-in Ballot application (formerly civilian absentee ballot) by mail for the Primary Election. (This is for those who have moved within Morris County, or did not receive a Mail-in ballot.)
June 4: Mailing of Sample Ballots.
June 6 - June 8: Early voting period for early In-Person Voting.
June 9 - by 3:00 pm: Last day to apply for a Mail-in Ballot application (formerly civilian absentee ballot) in-person for the Primary Election. (This is for those who have moved within Morris County, or did not receive a Mail-in ballot.)
June 10: Primary Election Day.

Polls open 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
In-person Mail-in ballots must be returned to the Board of Elections or deposited in an Official Ballot Drop Box by 8 p.m.
Mail-in ballots sent by United States Postal Service must be postmarked on or before Tuesday, June 10th, and received by Monday, June 16th.
