The Morris County Board of County Commissioners wishes to commemorate all veterans who served honorably in the United States Military by presenting the Distinguished Military Service Medal to eligible Morris County Residents.
To qualify, you must be:

You'll be asked to submit a copy of the veteran's discharge papers (DD-214/member 4-copy) - the form will give you options to submit this online, by mail, or in person.

Your application will be reviewed by the Veterans Service Officer and sent to the Board of Commissioners.
We will contact you over the phone and/or email. If you let us know on the application form that you want to participate in a County ceremony, we'll let you know the ceremony date.
