Morris County Sheriff's Office Hope One Mobile Recovery Program Inspires Hope One Newark

The city of Newark has followed the lead of the Morris County Sheriff's Office in setting up Hope One Newark, a mobile substance abuse recovery vehicle that brings critical resources to addicted, vulnerable people.

Who would have thought that, within a year and a half, we'd reach thousands throughout the state? Morris County Sheriff James M. Gannon said. I had a simple premise in mind, to bring our collective services to the at-risk population, wherever they are, and whenever they need us."
