PRE-REQUISITE: Public Safety Telecommunication certificate
The emphasis of this on-day tactical communications course is to better equip dispatchers for their critical role in assisting the officer in life-threatening incidents. This course of instruction meets the New Jersey Office of Emergency Telecommunications Services annual re-certification requirement pursuant to N.J.S.A. 17:24 – 22.
This eight (8) hour course covers both EMD and Basic Telecommunication continuing education that meets the ongoing training requirement under the New Jersey 9-1-1 Emergency Telephone System Regulations [17:24-2.2(c)2].
