This three-day course is designed to prepare officers for managing violent encounters with larger suspects. When controlling individuals of greater size and strength, effective combat strategies focus less on upper body power and more on technique and leverage. The methods taught in this course can be applied by any officer facing a size disparity. Training days are intensive, combining hands-on drills with mental challenges.
