On the evening of Wednesday, May 30, 2018, Prosecutor Fredric Knapp joined the congregation of the Islamic Center of Morris County for their annual Community Iftar. The Islamic Center of Morris County opened its doors to all members of the Morris County community, regardless of their religion, to break fast after sunset in observance of Ramadan.
The Community Iftar was created with the purpose of fostering stronger relationships between the various religions that are practiced in Morris County. It created a platform to share thoughts on how the Morris County community can continue to grow and work together toward the ultimate goal of a safe, happy, and healthy community experience.
Prosecutor Knapp and other local leaders were honored by the President of the Islamic Center of Morris County, Mostafa Abuzeed. President Abuzeed presented these community leaders with plaques for their continued support of the Islamic Center of Morris County.
