Morris County Prosecutor's Office to Participate in National Night Out

The annual National Night Out in Morris County will take place on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 and will run from 5:00pm through 9:30pm. Morris County residents can spend the night meeting with members of local law enforcement and other first responders, while enjoying free food and entertainment. The community eagerly participates in National Night Out, as Morris County has been named a National Award Winner since 2007.

Members of the Morris County Prosecutor's will attend National Night Out at three locations, Morris County Prosecutor Fredric Knapp, First Assistant Prosecutor Tom Zelante, Chief of Investigations Stephen F. Wilson Jr., Sergeant Keisha Higgs and Detective/Supervisor Patrick LaGuerre will be at Mennen Arena in Morristown, Detectives John Cassie and Thomas Spautz will be at Fireman's Field in Rockaway Borough, and Detectives Ramon Lopez and Kaitlin Lobman will be at the Butler Borough Police Department. They will have tables set up at all three venues, where they can provide important public safety information to parents, as well as small gifts for the children in attendance.

Prosecutor Knapp said, National Night Out is a wonderful event, where the public can meet with local law enforcement, and learn about the various services provided throughout Morris County. The continued success of this event every year, speaks volumes of the support our local law enforcement agencies receive in Morris County.
