The Morris County Prosecutor's Office, partnering with the Sussex County Prosecutor's Office and Presbyterian Church of Morristown, will be hosting their third public outreach program as part of the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General's 21-21 Community Policing Project.
The 21-21 Community Policing Project was implemented by New Jersey Attorney General Gurbir Grewal in 2018, with the goal of building strong relationships between law enforcement and the community. The first two programs covered Officer Involved Shootings and the Opioid Epidemic, and were positively received by those in attendance. This third program will focus on the recently issued New Jersey Office of the Attorney General Immigrant Trust Directive and Bias Crimes.
The event will be held at the Presbyterian Church of Morristown's Parish House, located at 65 South St., Morristown, NJ 07960. The program will run from 6-8 p.m. with the doors opening at 5:30 p.m. Representatives from the Morris County Prosecutor's Office and the Sussex County Prosecutor's Office will provide the presentation. It is a free event and all members of the public are encouraged to attend.
