Published on August 06, 2019

Morris County Prosecutor Fredric Knapp, Morris County Sheriff James Gannon, and multiple local police chiefs recently met with Chabad Rabbis from Morris County for a Building Bridges program. Information was provided to the rabbis concerning security assessments offered by the Morris County Prosecutor's Office, the RSVP-3 program created by the Morris County Sheriff's Office, and other security services available to all houses of worship throughout Morris County. The meeting provided the religious leaders in attendance with the opportunity to meet face to face with some of the members of law enforcement who serve their towns and to raise any concerns they may have.

Prosecutor Knapp said, The Building Bridges meeting was well attended by multiple Rabbis from Morris County and multiple police chiefs. It was a productive morning where many questions were raised and important information was provided. The Morris County Prosecutor's Office will continue to meet with the leaders of all houses of worship throughout Morris County to ensure all of their security and safety needs are met.
