On June 13, 2019, Morris County Prosecutor Fredric Knapp and members of the Morris County Prosecutor's Office Special Operations Division attended the annual New Jersey Narcotic Enforcement Officers Association (NJNEOA) awards luncheon in Atlantic City. The NJNEOA is an organization which provides training seminars to members of law enforcement who are tasked with combatting the illicit drug trade in New Jersey. Their annual award luncheon honors those members of law enforcement who have excelled in narcotics investigations.
The NJNEOA honored the Morris County Prosecutor's Office Special Operations Division with a 2019 NJNEOA Unit award. Additionally, Assistant Prosecutor Noelle Fiorentino and an undercover Detective received individual Guns, Gangs & Narcotics Law Enforcement Awards for their roles in two impressive investigations and prosecutions of crimes involving significant amounts of dangerous narcotics being distributed in Morris County.
Prosecutor Knapp said, Congratulations are in order for the Special Operations Division and specifically Assistant Prosecutor Noelle Fiorentino. Their continued efforts in combatting the distribution of harmful narcotics through the streets of Morris County aid in keeping our communities safe.
