Morris County Prosecutor Recognizes Three Detectives Awarded FBI LEEDA Executive Leadership Award

On October 15, 2019, Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp congratulated Captain Steven Ortiz, Sergeant Marshall Wang and Sergeant James Bruno on earning the FBI-LEEDA Trilogy Award, for having successfully completed the three training courses to earn this distinction.

The Trilogy Award is granted to individuals who successfully complete FBI-LEEDA's rigorous Supervisor Leadership Institute, Command Leadership Institute and Executive Leadership Institute courses. The mission of FBI-LEEDA is to advance the science and art of law enforcement leadership while promoting the exchange of information to improve law enforcement management practices through training, education, and networking among police professionals across the country.

Morris County Prosecutor's Office Sergeant Marshall Wang and Sergeant James Bruno were also commended by Prosecutor Knapp for having completed the Executive Leadership course.

Prosecutor Knapp said We are extremely proud of our supervisors who have spent the time and effort to complete this important training program. All three of these superior officers are outstanding leaders of the MCPO.

Several members of the Morris County Prosecutor's Office have earned the Trilogy Award in recent years, the most recent of which being Lt. Jan M. Monrad and Sgt. Susan Johnson.
