Male Body Found at Chatham Playground

Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp and Chatham Borough Police Chief Philip J. Crosson, Jr. announce that at approximately 6:37 a.m. this morning, the Chatham Borough Police Department responded to Garden Park concerning a report that a male body had been found at the playground. Patrols arrived on the scene and located the deceased victim. His identity has been determined by law enforcement but is not being released at this time. The manner of death has been determined to be suicide.
Prosecutor Knapp thanks the Chatham Borough Police Department, the Morris County Prosecutor's Office Major Crimes Unit and the Morris County Medical Examiner.
There will be no further information released today.
