Law Enforcement Confirm Fatal Crash That Occurred on June 11, 2017 In Long Hill Township, New Jersey

Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp and Long Hill Township Police Chief Michael Mazzeo confirm a fatal motor vehicle crash that occurred on June 11, 2017 in Long Hill Township, New Jersey.
On June 11, 2017, at approximately 4:00 p.m., the Long Hill Township Police Department was notified of a serious motor vehicle crash that occurred in the area of 342 Valley Road, Long Hill, New Jersey. It was determined that two motor vehicles, a car and a motorcycle, had been involved in a motor vehicle crash.
The operator of the motorcycle, a male, age forty-eight (48), was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The investigation into this incident is ongoing. As such, no additional information will be released at this time.
Numerous law enforcement agencies have been involved in this investigation, including the Long Hill Township Police Department, the Morris County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Section, and the Major Crimes Unit of the Morris County Prosecutor's Office.
