Florham Park Man Indicted on Attempted Murder and Attempted Aggravated Arson Charges

Acting Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp, Florham Park Police Chief Patrick Montuore and Morris County Sheriff Edward V. Rochford announce that Daniel Silvio Fargnoli, 31 years old, of Florham Park, New Jersey, was indicted today after an investigation revealed that on December 17, 2013, he allegedly threatened to use lethal force against police officers and he also attempted to use an incendiary device against law enforcement officers while barricaded within his residential building.             
Defendant was indicted on five counts of First Degree Attempted Murder; one count of Second Degree Attempted Aggravated Arson; six counts of Second Degree Possession of a Weapon (Destructive Device) for an Unlawful Purpose; one count of Second Degree Attempt to Cause Widespread Injury or Damage; two counts of Third Degree Unlawful Possession of a Destructive Device; one count of Third Degree Terroristic Threats; and one count of Third Degree Resisting Arrest.
